Dandy base, yet lacking. The first time I made it I followed the directions and it was a scrap salty, but I could tell it would take potential with a few changes. The second time, I cut out the mustard, added W.Sauce, fresh basil, and 3 cloves of minced garlic. This addition makes the marinade heavenly and its now a become to for me when grilling steaks. I too would never use vegetable oil in a marinade as its too thick, olive oil e'er works best in meat marinades and cut it way down to like ane/4 of a cup.

This was a groovy all purpose marinade. I used it for kebobs I'd cut from a lowly chuck roast and let them marinate all solar day before Mr. LTH grilled them to perfection. Cracking flavor, tender, and really fabricated a chuck roast popular w/out having to slow cook it. Thanks for the recipe! The but changes I made were to 1/2 the recipe and replaced dijon westward/yellow, per personal preference.

This was a Wonderful marinade! I was all out of Dijon mustard and then I used regular and it turned out fabled! Thanks for the great recipe. I used it on sirloin fillets and they were very very tender. My whole family devoured all of information technology!

I've never made a marinade before, and e'er only used a premade, but decided to become a piffling fancy today. Followed the recipe exactly, forked the *** out of my inside round roast and allow it marinate for half-dozen-viii hours this forenoon. Took information technology out of the marinade, rubbed all over with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper and seared it. Braised in the oven at low heat sitting in beef broth. SUPER YUMMY! Roast was moist and very tender and forked apart easily, and the outside pieces had a WONDERFUL flavour. Gravy was superb (though again, I didn't cook information technology in the marinade.) Hubby says it's the all-time roast I've always made! Definitely a repeat!

It is the 4th of July and I wanted a great marinade. I made this marinade this morning with the original recipe. The beef was in the marinade for 8 hours. I take to say that this recipe was succulent! The flavors stood up to the chuck roast that I cut upwardly for the kabobs and everybody loved it. I want to effort receipe this with shrimp next! yum!

With no changes at all, this was an infrequent recipe. It pleased everyone in the family. Thank you for a wonderful recipe!

I found information technology too salty. I definitely recommend marinating for 12 hours or more. The lemon juice is of import equally its acidity volition tenderize tougher cuts of beef.

This truly is the best marinade. I marinated a london broil for several hours terminal weekend and it turned out pretty good but and then marinated the second london bake from the packet for a week and that was even better!!Definitely keeping this in my repetoire.

This marinade saved our freezer burned New York steaks! All these years I've been a purist, preferring salt and garlic & herb seasoning only on my steaks. Just with these wonderful flavors, I will certainly be working this marinade into my bill of fare planning often. Garlic lovers may desire to double up on that ingredient.

Absolutely terrible.

I made this for beef stir fry strips to see if I could solve my problem of always having tough beef. I let it marinade for about vi hours (I was in a time crunch). It did its job and it honestly was the starting time time I feel I made a successful beef stir fry! The just affair is I experience that I would change is the lemon juice. I'm thinking the recipe as information technology is would be neat for craven and either have out the lemon juice or reduce information technology to perhaps two tablespoons for beef. I just found the lemon a bit too nowadays and non a subtle hint. Simply I recommend this recipe for sure. Merely adjust to your tastes.

The only modify I fabricated was to switch the cup of vegetable oil to one/2 of extra virgin olive oil. I used this marinade on some thin "beef circular steak bottom for swiss" (starting time fourth dimension ever trying this cutting of beefiness) and grilled it. Used minced garlic from a jar so probably used more a clove. Everyone raved about the flavor. I ran dorsum to the shop to get more steaks while they were all the same on sale, going to marinate and freeze them for another 24-hour interval.

This is the perfect marinade for beefiness, in my opinion. Information technology came together in minutes, and made plenty. I was a trivial concerned considering I had simply two hours to marinate the meat before cooking dinner, but I needn't have worried because the thick London Broil absorbed merely the right corporeality of flavor and was very tender. I should note that I used low sodium soy sauce considering it was all I had, and I will continue to practice so. It was perfect.

I used this recipe as a base of operations for a beef jerky marinade, I doubled the portions for 8 peoples servings. Still I changed the soy sauce size to 1/4 of that is advised as I ran out, added lime juice. Additionally swapped the garlic for bbq seasoning, it turned out great as I marinated the meat for 52hours then used a dehydrator on it for 12 hours.
08/18/2014
My sliced sparse ribeye was in this marinade for xxx minutes. the meat turned out and then tender and the flavour was amazing!!! I only had one ribeye then I cutting down on the corporeality of each ingredient.

03/26/2016
Expert but yep salty - based on reviews I added no common salt and cut soy sauce to half cup. I used a POOR pice of see and withal tough afterwards 24 hour marinade. I would also melt one higher doneness level....med to Med Well etc. I will endeavour others earlier I settle for this one. Might consider adding 1/2 t of Rosemary
07/24/2015

I just did a London Bake and it's the best I've ever tasted! Cheers! I'1000 not trying to sell anything here but I recently purchased an instant marinater that works on vacuum pressure. It gives you a full marinade in minutes as opposed to days. Again, I accept no stock in the visitor. But information technology really works! This is a uncomplicated but fantastic marinade! Thank you again!
09/08/2016
I put this on a moose roast for a day and a one-half and information technology was fork tender with dandy season , will use for other roasts.

This recipe smells and looks astonishing. The portion amounts were enough for me to jar one-half and store in the fridge. I does seem a bit salty simply a little fleck of sugar may cancel some of it out. Stay tuned!
11/08/2020
It was a trivial too tart for me so I added a 1/4 cup of agave syrup. Delish! I will add photo when I cook it tomorrow.
eleven/13/2017
No exaggeration. This is the best marinade I have ever made! I marinated a very thick beefiness loin for the full 48 hours. The flavor was delectable; the beefiness, tender and moist.
02/12/2019
I prefer marinades over a dry rub or seasoning. This is admittedly the all-time, and even my husband agreed (who I call back sometimes over seasons things)! ????
02/21/2019

07/02/2017

02/23/2017
That marinade turned my roast into buttery goodness. I marinated the roast for 48 hours. The side by side time I use that marinade, I'm gonna add Red Cooking Vino to the mix and see how that turns out. Information technology's a keeper!
03/28/2017
T salty.
07/11/2019
I inverse it by cut out oil and soy substituted more Worcestershire to compensate (plus little extra) and rendered it into a deep nighttime steak sauce with a bite!!!!
07/30/2018

05/26/2018

02/05/2017

05/01/2016
Very piece of cake to brand. Compliments beef very well. I volition definitely make this again!!
10/29/2017
I'chiliad giving this 5 stars by the flavour of the ingredients when combined. I have a London Broil marinating in it now. My initial annotate is that the recipe gives no indication of how many pieces of beefiness it will marinade. Nor does information technology recommend how long to marinade. I had one steak and this was way as well much marinade. I'm saving the rest and eating more beefiness than I planned this week ;-)
04/08/2021
This was Killer, Outstanding! But I knew that this was lacking something...so, it dawned on me! BOOZE!!! I added a loving cup of dry sherry (Shao Hsing/Shaoxing vino is even improve!) Instant flavor flop! I halved the lemon juice and marinated for three days, then removed from marinade and placed on a wire rack on a rimmed blistering sheet in my garage fridge, Uncovered, for 1 24-hour interval to dry out the exterior! Tiresome-roasted until 125 degrees, and so seared on cast iron! OOOh...My...GOD! Heavenly
